Additional Information: | City of Green Bay, Wisconsin - Architectural and Historical Intensive Survey Report Phase 1 - 2021 Unusual design combining Craftsman elements to unify what is essentially a double rowhouse. Walls are clapboard sided up to the second floor beltcourse which acts as the second floor window lintels. From the beltcourse to the cornice, the siding is wood shingles. The large gable roof has wide overhaning eaves are flush with the bonding sides. A large two-third width open front porch dominates the symmetrical main facade. The porch is basically a shed roof design, having a visually gable roofed center whose gable end is sided in wood shingles. The first floor of the front facade has corner boards at the ends adn a beltcourse which acts as the first floor window lintel. The end windows on the first floor facade are unique to the building and consists of a 25/1 light window whose upper half is leaded in a pattern of 5x5 squares with small diamond lozenges at their esterseding and a single fleur-de-lis in the center. #650: Garage. |
