Constructed between 1887 and 1892 [A], this two story commercial vernacular styled retail building features a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a wooden exterior, and a flat roof. Fluted pilasters flank the front corners of the first story, a simple roof shelters the storefront and a moulded cornice distinguishes the roofline. The building, which is in good condition, historically functioned as a Turkish Bathouse. August 2013: Shingled awning replaced by canvas awning; new second-story windows; second story clapboard siding added/restored August 2019: Altered appearance, facade modifications include modern siding, and altered window opening. |
