Additional Information:Original building greatly remodeled and expanded in 1950. First floor features two open, square brick entrances. Vestibules joined by an open, tiled shed roof loading dock with a raised concrete walkway. All windows on this floor have been subsequently bricked in probably around 1950. The 1950 remodeling and expansion erected a second floor used for wrapping and storage and a third floor housing the Larson Co. corporate offices. All the windows added in the 1950 expansion have been subsequently altered with modern, energy efficient ones. Was Midwest Cold Storage before being purchased circa 1980 by The Larsen Co. #650: Industrial buildings. The Larsen Co. complex at 316-430 N. Broadway.
