NOTES
Additional Information:Decorative half-timbering distinguishes this Tudor Revival residence located in the Third Ward Historic District. Elaborate designs are especially prominent in a large steeply pitched gable which highlights the facade and a smaller gable which covers the entrance area. A third gable located on the second level is characterized by the vertical framing that accents the entire stucco covered upper story of the dwelling. Groups of narrow multi-paned windows are also featured. On the ground floor, which has brick walls, multi-paned windows are again evident. Stone lintels cap these large openings. The entrance, as mentioned above, is contained within a gabled projection. Narrow windows flank the entry itself which is included in a Tudor arch. Stone outlines the main opening, the flanking windows, and the entire projecting section.

Attached garage (on the east) with gabled dormers completes the composition.

Earl Hale, secretary and general manager of the Eau Claire Book and Stationary Company, was listed at this address in 1929.
