NOTES
Additional Information:This one and one half story front gabled house features a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a stucco foundation, an aluminum/vinyl sided exterior, a wood trim and an asphalt shingled multi-gabled roof. The centered front entrance is sheltered by an awning, which is in turn supported by narrow poles. A brick exterior chimney appears at the side elevation. Additions were built on unspecified dates. The residence, constructed in 1890, is in fair condition. (See Bib. Ref. A). Architectectural/Engineering Significance: This property meets criteria C of the National Register requirements because the property retains enough of the character that it had when the town of Barton was growing and developing. This building contributes to the whole character of the Barton Historic District.
