Additional Information: | The Cedarburg Rattan and Willow Ware Co. was a short lived operation that opened in this building ca 1890. It was not very successful and moved to the owner's home on Highland just a few years later. This building was then moved sideways on the lot and converted into an apartment building. According to the 1893 Sanborn-Perris map, the factory had closed by that year. The factory made willow and wicker wash baskets and trunks. The two men who established it were from Milwaukee. |
