Additional Information:JOHN A. JONES, ALONG WITH HIS UNCLE, HAD THIS BUILDING CONSTRUCTED. JONES OPERATED A DRUG STORE ON ONE SIDE OF THE BUILDING AND HIS COUSIN OPERATED A JEWELRY STORE ON THE OTHER.

"John A. Jones learned his trade working several years for John Williams in the Corner Drug Store before building this block with his uncle. He has a drug store on one side and his cousin had a jewelry store on the other. At one time, Jones owned all of the drug stores in Columbus. His success is reflected in the house he built."
