Additional Information: | ORIGINALLY HOUSED A GENERAL STORE AND GROCERY OF CHARLES TOPP. HE ALSO SOLD STEAMSHIP TICKETS HERE. THE METAL CORNICE WAS ADDED IN THE 1890S. "This is really three buildings. The lower part on the right (originally two buildings) housed the grocery and general store of Charles Topp. He also sold steamship tickets here. The business was very successful and in 1886 he bought the building on the left from a shoe salesman named Breuning and expanded his dry goods store.
