DETAILS ARE TYPICAL OF THE GREEK REVIVAL BUT IT IS DIFFICULT TO DISCERN ORIGINAL HOUSE FORM. HISTORICAL STATEMENT: THE OLDEST PORTION OF THE HOUSE WAS BUILT IN 1866 BY R. T. MORGAN, FOUNDER OF THE MORGAN COMPANY. AMONG OTHER OWNERS WAS MAYOR ARTHUR KELLOGG FROM 1891 TO 1912. IN THE LATE YEAR THE HOUSE WAS EXTENSIVELY REMODELED AND ENLARGED.
