Additional Information: | This two-story, commercial, vernacular building, historically known as the I.R. Cushman Building, was constructed c.1900. It is of brick masonry construction, painted tan, with a rectangular plan and an indiscernible foundation. The flat roof is ornamented with a simple brick parapet with stone coping and features an interior brick chimney. The original storefront with a recessed entry flanked by fixed windows and an offset secondary entrance is intact, but the awning has been wrapped with modern signage, though the supports may be original. The three second-story windows are replacement, one-over-one, double-hung sash with modern striped awnings, while the first-story storefront windows are original. Corbelled brick bands accent the front (southeast) facade. The front door has been replaced. |
