NOTES
Additional Information:The present building was built some time circa 1946. Because of this property's recent construction, it does not meet the criteria for historical significance and does not fall into the exception for properties constructed during the 50 year non-historic period. This small one-story commercial building displays plain, unadorned brick surfaces that are characterized by a plain centrally located door flanked by small plain rectangular windows. This building was constructed in 1947 for George Owen. This building was built to house Owens Pool Hall. Owens Pool Hall is not architecturally significant because it is of modern contemporary design and is less than 50 years old. As a result, this building does not contribute to the historic character of the proposed Water Street Commercial Historic District.
