Additional Information:THE MASON CONTRACTOR WAS WALTER A. MEWES. ORIGINAL ESTIMATED COST OF CONSTRUCTION WAS $9,000. GRAEBNER WAS A MILWAUKEE NATIVE WHO WAS AN ATTORNEY. HE WAS BORN ON OCTOBER 14, 1887 AND ATTENDED GRADE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL IN MILWAUKEE. HE THEN ATTENDED LAW SCHOOL AT THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN AND GRADUATED IN 1909. HE OPENED A PRIVATE LAW PRACTICE IN DOWNTOWN MILWAUKEE AND IN 1912 FORMED A PARTNERSHIP WITH J.L. O'CONNOR; IT DISSOLVED IN 1915. HE PRACTICED ON HIS OWN AND BY 1931 HE WAS APPOINTED COURT COMMISSIONER OF MILWAUKEE CO. HE LIVED HERE UNTIL AT LEAST 1940. BY 1950 MAITLAND J. MCCUEN LIVED HERE.
