Additional Information:SEE SOS! FILES AT THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF AMERICAN ART IN WASHINGTON, D.C. A bronze statue portraying Chief Oshkosh as a young brave. The statue rests on a granite base and faces Lake Winnebago. Col. John Hicks commissioned this work for the city.
