Additional Information: | SEE ISF, SMALL LOG BUILDING W/ EXTENSIVE ADDITIONS Resurveyed April 2014. 2014- "This 2-story Side Gabled house was constructed c.1900. It is rectangular in plan with log, board, and sheet metal walls and an asphalt-shingled gable roof. The front elevation faces west and is asymmetrical in plan. The first story is of log construction, although the southern half has been clad in vertical boards while the northern half is in partial collapse. A single front door and a 1-over-1 window are located at the first story while a bank of three 1-over-1 windows is located at the second story; the wall below the gable appears to be clad in sheet metal. All windows appear to be modern replacements. The current building form appears to be the result of a series of extensive additions to each elevation; the second story appears to be a later addition as well. The dates of these alterations are unknown." -"STH 42: Bluff Ln (Gibraltar) to Country Walk Dr (Sister Bay)", WisDOT#4140-19-00, Prepared by Gail Klein, (2014). |
