Additional Information:ALTERED FIRST STORY,DENTICULATED CORNICE 2021 - Resurveyed. This two-story brick commercial vernacular building was constructed in 1891. The altered storefront level has three retail bays and an additional bay with a secondary entrance. The two western retail bays share a canted entrance supported by a simple column. Each space has a modern door and display window. These bays are topped by a signband of vertical wood boards. The eastern bay has a recessed half-canted entrance with a modern door and large replacement display windows that are surrounded by horizontal wood cladding and topped with a metal pent roof. The second story includes two bays of regularly spaced one-over-one replacement windows with stone sills and flat rusticated stone arches. Above the two center windows of the west bay is a stone plaque inscribed with "18 HERALD 91." Above the windows is a decorative, dentil cornice with rusticated stone coping.
