| Additional Information: | 2025; Amethyst Health is a one-story Late-Modern-style health facility constructed circa 1964. The original angular Y-shape footprint as defined by the anterior pair of 45-degree arms and a third shallow prong at the rear was upended by a circa 1980 addition, which turned the floor plan into the X-shape recognized in aerials today. The integrated appendages consolidated between the anterior and posterior arms range between 1982 to 1998. Besides the floor plan, the materials and features are rather traditional. The property has a red brick exterior and hipped roofs that merge into a radial hub. The main entry’s gabled portico is centered on a horseshoe driveway. The five-bay porch pediment is supported by a series of squared columns, and shades the paired entry doors and window flankers. The entry fenestrations are accented with broken pediments. Windows are primarily paired double-hung sashes accented with fixed decorative shutters with occasional banks of three window groupings near the ends. |
