Additional Information: | This two-story Front Gabled house was constructed c.1880. It is T-shaped in plan (due to a later addition) with a fieldstone foundation, cream brick walls, and an asphalt-shingled gable roof. The building is comprised of the primary two-story brick mass and a smaller, one-story, gable-roofed clapboard wing that likely dates to the mid-twentieth century. The front elevation faces north and is asymmetrical in composition. The front door is located at the west end of the brick mass; the door is sheltered under a hipped roof hood and is accessed via a concrete stoop with metal railings. East of the door is a 1-over-1 window in a segmentally-arched opening; the second story contains two 1-over-1 windows in segmentally-arched openings. The north elevation of the one-story frame mass is set back from the façade of the brick mass and contains a single pair of sliding or casement windows below the roofline. |
