| Additional Information: | This 1-story Contemporary commercial building was constructed in 1950 as the Evanoff 5 and 10 Cent Store (this was later renamed “Evan’s Variety”). It is rectangular in plan with a stone veneer façade and a flat roof. The front elevation faces north and is asymmetrical in composition with a recessed entrance (comprised of a metal-framed glass door and matching sidelight and transom arrangement) at the west end and a bank of shop windows spanning the remainder of the façade. Large letters reading “EVANS” are mounted to the face of the building above the shop windows. |
