Additional Information: | This 1 ½ story Craftsman house was constructed c.1915. It is rectangular in plan with a cast stone foundation, vinyl siding, and an asphalt-shingled front-gabled roof with overhanging eaves and triangular brackets. The front elevation faces east and is symmetrical in composition with a full-width recessed front porch. The porch features squared wood supports that rest on cast stone piers; railings appear to be vinyl replacements. Inside the porch is a central front door with large 1-over-1 windows on each side. A recessed balcony is located at the half story above the porch and contains a sliding glass door and a vinyl railing. The building is nearly identical in plan to the house at 623 7th Street (although the house at 623 7th Street has had a portion of its porch enclosed). |
