NOTES
Additional Information:This 2-story Queen Anne commercial building was constructed c.1900 and served as a printing shop at least through 1934. It is rectangular in plan with a stone foundation (covered in concrete along the front façade), vinyl siding, and a front-gabled roof behind a false-front parapet. The front elevation faces east and is symmetrical in plan with a recessed center doorway flanked by pairs of sliding windows. The door is accessed via a concrete stoop with a metal handrail; a hinged metal coal chute door is located in the foundation wall south of the stoop. The wall around the entrance and flanking windows is slightly recessed and framed to suggest the original location of the storefront (presumably a central recessed entry flanked by large shop windows). The second story features a strip of decorative siding that simulates fish-scale shingles along its lower portion. A rectangular oriel window with a hipped roof and decorative brackets is located at the center of the second story. The oriel window contains simulated multi-pane windows in each side. Simulated 6-over-6 windows are located on both sides of the oriel window. The false-front parapet that caps the façade features a decorative cornice with large, ornate brackets.
