NOTES
Additional Information:2023: This house was constructed circa 1875 at the northeast corner of County Road S and Main Street in the village of Avalanche in the Town of Webster, Vernon County. It is a one and one-half story, gabled ell type consisting of the side-gabled volume parallel to County Road S and a rear gabled wing. The exterior is clad in clapboard siding with a wide frieze trim below the eaves. The eaves slightly overhang the exterior and are closed with a wide wood soffit and narrow wood fascia. The cross-gabled roof is clad in asbestos shingle. An internal brick chimney rises from the south roof slope of the rear wing. The windows have either lost the glazing or have been boarded but appear to be 3-over-3 wood sash hung windows. A partial width, hip roof open-air porch adjoins the principal (west) elevation at grade. It appears to be offset from the center; however, it is partially collapsed and obscured by vegetation.
