NOTES
Additional Information:2023: The Classic Lanes Bowling Alley is a one story, concrete and steel frame Post-Modern commercial building with a rectangular plan and a flat roof. Looking at the front facing façade the roof line is higher at the south end of the building and angles down towards the north end. The front façade is divided by a stone wall flanked by two entrances on either side; both entrances are under canopies. The remaining portion of the front façade is painted concrete block. A volleyball court is located adjacent to the north and the parking lot is to the east and a driveway off the parking lot wraps to the south end of the building. To the west is another commercial business. Classic Lanes Bowling Alley is estimated to have been built ca. 1969. Per articles in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the alley has been in operation as Classic Lanes since at least the early 1980’s. Per Sentinel advertisements the alley has been used for bowling leagues as well as community events such as craft fairs and auctions.
