Additional Information: | This 2-story Front Gabled house was constructed in 1897. It is rectangular in plan with cream brick walls and an asphalt-shingled gable roof. The front elevation faces south and is asymmetrical in composition with a replacement front door at the east end of the façade; the door is sheltered under a cantilevered gable with triangular support brackets. A concrete stoop with metal handrails provides access to the front door. West of the door are two 1-over-1 windows with segmentally-arched brick crowns. The second story of the façade contains two additional 1-over-1 windows with segmentally-arched brick crowns. A 1-story wing projects from the rear (north) elevation; this appears to be original as it features the same cream brick construction as the main building mass with clapboard siding added to a portion of the east elevation (where a concrete stoop and door provide separate access to the rear wing indicating building’s current use as a duplex). |
