NOTES
Additional Information:This 1-story Contemporary commercial building was constructed in 1968 following a design by New York architect Charles Tilton and initially served as Robert Hall Clothes (today, the building serves as Rogan’s Shoes). It is rectangular in plan with buff-colored brick walls and a flat roof. The front elevation faces southeast and is asymmetrical in composition with a flat metal canopy projecting from the front façade and spanning the southern two thirds of the wall. The canopy is supported by squared wood supports that rest on concrete footings. The center of the elevation, under the northern portion of the canopy, contains a full-height window wall with a center door; the windows and door have aluminum frames. The north end of the primary façade contains an expanse of brick wall upon which is mounted the “Rogan’s Shoes” signage. The building is set back with a large, paved parking lot separating it from the roadway.
