Additional Information: | Surveyed in 2023 by UWM-CRM for a CTH A reconstruction project. This one and one-half story Bungalow was built in 1935. The house is roughly rectangular in plan, with a cross gabled roof with jerkinhead gables. The exterior is clad in brick in variegated shades of buff and brown. The roof is clad in asphalt shingles and appears to retain its historic wood eaves, frieze boards, and bargeboards. A four-sided, hip-roofed bay window is located in the west (front) elevation; each wall of the bay contains a historic three-over-one double hung window with cast stone sills. The upper story of the front elevation contains a decorative group of three windows arranged to form a large elliptical arch. Each of these windows is a similar three-over-one double hung. All other windows throughout the house appear to be original and consist of three-over-one double hungs, one-over-one double hungs, and a pair of decorative piano windows. |
