Additional Information: | This One Story Cube house was constructed c.1880. It is rectangular in plan with a stone foundation, painted brick walls, and a metal-clad hipped roof. The front elevation faces northwest and is symmetrical in composition with a central front door and single 1-over-1 windows on each side. The door and windows are capped by segmentally arched brick hoods. The building is constructed into a rise so that the front elevation is a single story above-grade while the rear elevation features a fully exposed lower level. Additional 1-over-1 windows with segmentally-arched brick hoods are located in the side and rear elevations. The northeast elevation also contains a single door with a segmentally-arched brick hood. A concrete stoop runs along the northwest and northeast sides of the house. |
