Additional Information: | This Two Story Cube house was constructed c.1880. It is rectangular in plan with stucco walls and an asphalt-shingled hipped roof with slightly overhanging eaves. The front elevation faces southeast and is asymmetrical in composition. A 1-story, hipped-roof, enclosed porch spans the façade. The enclosed porch features a row of 3-over-1 windows along its front wall with a single doorway at the northern end. A newer deck has been constructed along the face of the enclosed porch with steps opposite the door providing access. Above this, the second story of the front elevation contains a pair of 1-over-1 windows and a single 1-over-1 window. Both windows are set in round-arched openings with slightly projecting crowns above. Areas where the stucco cladding has chipped indicate that the house is of red brick construction; Sanborn maps suggest that the stucco cladding was added sometime after 1914. |
