Additional Information: | This 1-story Neogothic Revival church was constructed in 1955 as Trinity Lutheran Church. It is rectangular in plan with buff-colored brick walls and an asphalt-shingled front-gable roof. The front elevation faces north and is symmetrical in plan. The building embodies a center tower plan with a square tower projecting from the center of the façade and serving as an entry bay with a pair of wooden double doors at its center. The doors are accessed via a concrete stoop with metal handrails. Tall, narrow Gothic arched stained glass windows are located in the side walls of the projecting tower. The upper half of the tower steps inward and is capped by a front-gabled roof. Gothic-arched openings with louvered panels are located in the front and side walls of the upper portion of the tower. The front wall of the main building mass contains single Gothic arched stained-glass windows on each side of the tower. Additional Gothic arched stained-glass windows are located at regular intervals along both side elevations. A small, shed-roofed bay projects from the west elevation near the rear corner. |
