Bibliographic References: | "History of William Peters Store," Prepared by Dave Cosgrove, 2 December 1938, paper completed for West Bend High School's American History class. Paper on file at The Tower Heritage Center, West Bend, WI. Please note that the paper indicates that this building was erected in 1915, while the associated one-story building at 525 Hickory Street was built in 1905. However, following review of Sanborn fire insurance maps, it appears that those dates were incorrectly reversed, as Sanborn maps indicate this building, identified as a flour warehouse, was built between 1900 and 1910, while the Hickory Street building had not yet been constructed. |
