Additional Information: | This 2-story Cross Gabled house was constructed c.1890. It is t-shaped in plan with a fieldstone foundation, aluminum siding, and an asphalt-shingled gable roof. The front elevation faces east and is asymmetrical in composition with a central front-gabled mass; side-gabled masses are set back on each side of this. Hipped roof entry porches are located along both side-gabled masses. Both porches have turned wood supports, front-facing wooden steps, and shelter individual entrances. The center front-gabled mass features cutaway corners at the first story, each of which contains a 1-over-1 window. Between these is larger single-pane window with transom. The second story of the front-gabled mass contains two singly-placed 1-over-1 windows with two smaller 1-over-1 windows above this at the attic level. The second-story of both side-gabled masses contain 1-over-1 windows. |
