Additional Information: | This one-story ranch house with hipped roof was built on the east side of CTH N in 1966. The house exhibits typical features of the ranch style, including its low-pitched roof with wide eaves. Its layout deviates slightly from the standard rectangular plan, as the hipped-roof garage bay projects out beyond the front of the house. The corner of the garage bay is cutaway with a wrought iron support; it provides shelter over the front entrance. The remainder of the house is comprised of three bays consisting of a large tripartite window and two pairs of sash windows. The garage, secondary elevations, and a portion of the façade are clad in replacement vinyl siding. The base of the façade and the portion that contains the entry and tripartite window is clad in flagstone veneer. The windows are modern replacements. The house has an asphalt shingle roof with small stone-clad chimney and metal stack; the foundation was not visible. |
