Additional Information: | This small, 1-story Minimal Traditional house was constructed c.1950. It is rectangular in plan with stucco and T1-11 walls and an asphalt-shingled side-gabled roof with a projecting front eave. The front elevation faces west and is asymmetrical in composition with an entrance at the southern end of the façade. The entrance is framed by squared wood supports under the projecting eave with horizontal members acting as “walls” on each side; within this “porch” is a single doorway and a 1-over-2 window with the panes arranged horizontally. North of the entrance is a picture window with narrow 4-pane sidelights on each side. Below this is a stone planter with stone supports. The northern wall of the house contains an exterior stone chimney, a casement window (consisting of two hinged four-pane sashes with the panes stacked vertically), and a 2-over-2 double-hung window with the panes arranged horizontally. A one-car garage projects from the north elevation and contains a modern overhead door in its west elevation. |
