Additional Information: | This 2-story Gabled Ell house was constructed c.1890. It is irregular in plan (due to a large garage addition) with buff-colored brick walls and an asphalt-shingled gable roof. The front elevation faces west and is asymmetrical in composition. The front-gabled portion of the façade contains a single-pane picture window at the first story and two singly-placed 1-over-1 windows at the second story. All three windows are sheltered under metal awnings; the second-story windows feature segmentally-arched brick hoods. Within the ell is a newer hipped-roof porch with wood supports and railings. Within the porch, a single door is located in the west face of the side-gabled mass, along with a single 1-over-1 window. Another 1-over-1 window is located in the southern wall of the front-gabled mass. Both windows as well as the door feature segmentally-arched brick hoods. A large 2-car garage addition projects from the rear elevation and extends northward; the footprint of the garage addition is approximately the same as that of the original building mass. |
