NOTES
Additional Information:2021 - Across an access drive north of the Milwaukee Gas Light Company - North Service Center is an associated round-arched building. This one-story, windowless building was constructed at the same time as the subject property in 1961. The western portion of the building is constructed with five concrete arched trusses which extend past the eaves of the roof to ground level. The wall material of the arched western elevation is pebble-dash concrete panels, while the remainder of the building is constructed of brown brick laid in a common bond. No fenestration is present on the building. Attached to the east of the round-arched building is a flat-roof rectangular building that dates to the time of the original construction. It contains the primary entrance on the eastern elevation. Alterations to the structure include the addition of two square entryway vestibules to the east and south facades of the building, distinguishable by a slight difference in brick color. Original entryways have been bricked in. A metal cornice band wraps around the flat-roof portion of the building, creating a wide overhanging eave supported by stepped metal brackets on the eastern elevation.
