Additional Information: | This two-story vernacular house was constructed in 1897. It is rectangular in plan with a shed roof and walls clad in vinyl siding. The building shares a party wall on its west side. The front elevation faces south and is largely symmetrical in plan with no eave overhang (a metal gutter runs along the roofline of the façade). Fenestration at the first and second stories is identical and consists of a central door with pairs of 1-over-1 windows on each side. Each pair of windows features decorative shutters. A flat-roofed porch across the first story serves as the base of a second story balcony. The porch features tubular metal supports, modern “wrought iron” style railings, and a concrete slab foundation. The second-story balcony features modern vinyl railings. |
