| Additional Information: | This one-story bank building was constructed in 1991 in a contemporary style with a Neoclassical influence. It is rectangular in plan with brick walls and a flat roof. The front elevation faces south and is symmetrical in plan with three distinct bays. The center bay contains round-arched doorway containing a pair of metal-framed glass doors with a round-arched transom and wide concrete surround. The outer bays each contain three regularly-spaced round-arched windows. The three bays are separated by engaged concrete columns with additional columns at the outer corners. A wide concrete band runs along the foundation and is mirrored by a slightly projecting concrete band just below the roofline that serves as a frieze in the overall building composition. A drive-up window sheltered by a vinyl awning is located at the north end of the east elevation. The River Bank building was constructed in 1991 on the site of the earlier Farmer’s State Bank. |
