| Additional Information: | This one-story resource was built as a garage and appears to currently be used for storage. It dates from ca. 1945 (sometime between 1938 and 1951 based on aerials). It occupies a small rectangular footprint and terminates in a front-gable roof that is sheathed in asphalt shingles. A shed roof that also is sheathed in shingles has been added over openings on the resource’s primary, east elevation. The openings consist of a what appears to be a replacement garage door and a replacement door to the right (west). The resource is clad in vinyl siding. Alterations include the replacement doors, which appear to have been installed within the past ca. 40 years, and the vinyl siding, added within the past ca. 20 years. The resource is located approximately 55 feet northwest of the house (AHI Number 242857) and approximately 10 feet south of the basement barn (AHI Number 242858). The former garage forms part of a farmstead that consists of a ca. 1945 farmhouse (AHI Number 242857); ca. 1945 silo (AHI Number 242915); ca. 1945 gambrel-roof barn (AHI Number 242858); a small ca. 1960 barn (AHI Number 242917); a ca. 1960 former garage that appears to have been converted to storage use (AHI Number 242918); and a ca. 1995 storage building. |
