| Additional Information: | John Topzant was born in Milwaukee in 1890. He completed correspondence school between 1909 and 1910, during which time he began working in the office of Fred Graf. He also worked for a brief time with Henry Rotier. In 1919, Topzant established his architectural practice in Milwaukee. His work included a wide variety of building types including commercial buildings, churches, and houses. Most of these were in the Milwaukee area, though he also completed work in Illinois. |
