Additional Information: | This 1-story Ranch house was constructed c.1965. It is L-shaped in plan with a concrete foundation covered in brick veneer, board and batten and clapboard siding, and an asphalt-shingled, low-pitched gable roof with wide overhanging eaves. The front elevation faces south and is asymmetrical in plan with a projecting side-gabled mass at the western end of the façade in which a double garage is located. The garage features an overhead door of metal construction. The eave of the side-gabled mass extends eastward to the center of a front-gabled mass where it serves to shelter the front entrance. The front corner of this roof extension is supported by a decorative metal support. The wall of the garage mass and the wall around the front entrance are clad in board and batten siding. East of this, the eastern half of the front-gabled mass contains a bank of three single-pane, rectangular windows. The wall above these is clad in clapboard with vertical boards dividing the space into bays that mirror the placement of the three windows below. A single beam support is located under the gable end of the overhanging roof eave. |
