Additional Information:This abandoned railroad bridge over a vehicular alley between S. 3rd Street and S. 2nd Street was constructed in 1915 by the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad to carry a single track over the alley. It is a riveted steel plate girder bridge with reinforced concrete supports. A metal pipe railing runs along the south side of the deck while a modern steel cable railing runs along the north side of the deck. The bridge measures approximately 25 feet in length.
