Additional Information: | Surveyed in July 2020 by UWM-CRM as part of the WisDOT USH 63 reconstruction project. This Two Story Cube house was probably constructed around 1900. The house is clad in wood shingles and has a composite shingle hipped roof. The house has a two-story full-width front porch; both stories of the porch are enclosed with double hung windows. A one-story wing extends from the rear of the house. Fenestration consists of single and paired double hung windows, and a three-part casement window. With the exception of the porch second-story windows (most likely used as a sleeping porch), all other windows are modern vinyl or aluminum replacements. The house appears to retain its modest wood frieze board and the original moldings on the porch eaves. Several windows are capped with modest hood molds, although it is unknown if these are historic. |
