Additional Information: | Surveyed in July 2020 by UWM-CRM as part of the WisDOT USH 63 reconstruction project. This one and one-half story Bungalow was constructed around 1910. It is square in plan, with a side-gabled roof and a gabled front dormer. The front roof extends to cover a full-width front porch with a half wall and simple square posts. The house is clad in clapboards and has a modern roof with knee braces. The knee braces and eaves appear to be clad in aluminum, although they retain a historically appropriate appearance. Fenestration consists of three-over-one double hung windows arranged singly or in groups. Two smaller three-light piano windows are located in the east elevation, on either side of an exposed brick chimney. The east elevation also contains two projecting, shed-roofed bay windows. Based on window trim, most of the windows in the house appear to be modern replacements that replicate the divided light pattern of historically appropriate windows. |
