NOTES
Additional Information:Part of the A.D. Thompson Cabin property (AHI 15911)

The Children’s Cabin is located southwest of the A.D. Thompson Cabin, and is the first building encountered when entering the clearing. Constructed circa 1910, it is a square, one-story frame bunkhouse featuring a pyramidal, asphalt-shingled roof with exposed rafter ends, clapboard siding, and a central, brick chimney. The building measures roughly twenty feet square and sits approximately two feet off the ground atop brick piers. Multi-light double hung windows framed by simple wooden surrounds are present on each elevation. Essentially a bunkhouse, there is little architectural distinction or variation in the building’s exterior and interior appearance and finishes.
