NOTES
Additional Information:According to Prairie du Chien local Blair Dillman, the concrete and metal gate at the north end of Villa Louis Road is affiliated with the grain elevator to the north (currently Gavilon Grain), and he recalled the gate was erected about 50 years ago (in 2020). That would date the gates shortly after the Army Corps of Engineers removed most buildings from St. Feriole Island. Dillman indicated that the gates have no affiliation with the nearby Villa Louis property site.
