NOTES
Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. The Dutchman Creek Bridge was constructed in 1903 to carry the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad (now the Canadian National Railway) over Dutchman Creek. It is a 2-span, stone arch bridge with each span measuring approximately 30 feet in length. Stonework consists of heavy stone blocks arranged in regular courses with distinctive pointed ring stones around each arch. A pointed stone cutwater projects from the west face of the center pier. Stepped wingwalls of stone construction project from the northwest and southwest corners of the bridge; these measure approximately 25 feet in length
