Additional Information:	This front-gabled house was constructed c.1870 by the Thelen family as a replacement for the c.1850 log house on the same property (see AHI# 13223). The building faces south and includes a modern, partially-enclosed front porch addition and a large addition to the building's west elevation. Both additions were added after 1966.
