NOTES
Additional Information:This 4-span flat slab concrete and steel deck girder bridge (P-40-802) was constructed in 1955 to carry the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railroad over Hampton Avenue. The outer spans measure 9.6 feet in length and are of flat slab concrete construction (these are located over the sidewalks on each side of the roadway) while the two inner spans measure 34.6 feet in length and are of steel deck girder construction (these are located over the vehicular lanes of Hampton Avenue). Decorative concrete piers support each span and project above the deck to anchor metal railings that run along each side of the deck.
