Additional Information: | 2020: "Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church was constructed in 1960.12 The Contemporary-style church has a mostly rectangular footprint, brick clad exterior, and shallow-pitched side-gabled roof. The primary façade faces southeast toward S. Main Street. At its center is a pair of panel doors with side lights and a porte-cochere with a flat roof and wide rectangular brick bell tower. The cantilevered roof is supported at its end by metal poles mounted on a brick wall. Along the east half of the façade is a series of narrow full-height window openings, each with a column of six windows above a vinyl clad panel. The east gable end has a lighter brick section of wall with a large metal cross. The west end of the building is a shorter side-gabled wing that appears to be a c.2000 addition. Its façade includes a secondary ramped entrance and a pair of narrow full-height windows. The west gable end is clad in vinyl siding. Centrally located atop the building’s roof is a simple metal steeple." |
