| Additional Information: | This building stands on the historic Mike Hensgen farmstead. While the house and two small outbuildings stand in Section 9, this and most of the farm buildings stand in Section 10. This small wood shed stands east of the small pond, on the edge of the pasture beyond the farmstead complex. It is older than most other buildings on the property, but county records do not indicate its date of construction. It has a metal gabled roof; the sheets are a historic material. A single door is set in the west end-wall, and its door is missing. The vertical wood boards are weathered and peeling away from the base of the structure. A window is set on its south wall. It is in poor structural condition. This building is not individually eligible. The farmstead as a whole is also recommended not eligible for listing in the NRHP. |
