NOTES
Additional Information:The Farrell Road Bridge is located in the Town of Kaukauna, Outagamie County. It was built between 1900 and 1910. Its engineer and contractor are not known. The structure is a rubble-limestone, segmental-arch bridge about 21 feet wide and 88 feet long, including abutments. Springing from near the waterline, the arch rises about 5 feet 3 inches over a span of 32 feet. Originally, the bridge probably had stone railings running the full length of the slightly flared, full-retaining abutments. The bridge now displays standard highway metal railings. In the flared abutments and flatness of the arch (1:6 rise-to-span ratio) the bridge closely resembles to nearby stone-arch bridges in the Town of Vandenbroek. stone arch bridge
